Events-not-to-be-missed in Tignes this summer 2024 :

This summer 2024, Tignes offers you an unforgettable stay with a multitude of sporting and cultural events. 

- Brévières Festival (14/07)

Celebrate 14 July in the authentic village of Les Brévières. This village festival is the ideal place for families to get together and offers a range of entertainment throughout the day. The festivities continue in the evening with magnificent fireworks display that lights up the entire sky and mountains.

- Festival Mountain Shaker (20/07-28/07)

A not-to-be-missed event in Tignes, after an exceptional winter edition, the Mountain Shaker festival is back this summer. On the program for the week: 6 competitions, including 3 open to all, 1 dedicated to children and 2 high-level competitions. With mountain biking, rollerblading, trials, shows, freestyle and concerts, this event promises to be a thrill.

- Musicalp (31/07-22/08)

The MusicAlp classical music academy returns to Tignes this summer to offer you chamber music concerts and the chance for talented young musicians to take part in these ensembles alongside them.

Bringing together musicians from all over the world, the teachers supervise several hundred students throughout the summer and offer holidaymakers 16 high-flying concerts on the Auditorium stage.

- Tignes Golf Open (3/08)

For the second year running, the Tignes golf club is organising its Open de Golf, again in collaboration with the MusicAlpe music academy. This is another opportunity to combine golf and music on Tignes' demanding 18-hole course, at an altitude of 2,000 metres.

- Tignes le lac festival (14/08)

Every summer in August, Tignes organises its traditional Fête du Lac with plenty of entertainment for all the family and a spectacular XXL fireworks display over Lac de Tignes.

- Cimalp Tignes Trail (17/08-18/08)

In collaboration with French outdoor brand Cimalp and the resort of Tignes, this trail competition is making a comeback this summer. On the programme are 6 competitions, including 3 for youngsters. Participants will cover the Vanoise National Park in a variety of formats, from 14 to 42 km, offering panoramic views of glaciers and lakes.

- Chouchoute Ta montagne (22/08)

Every year, at the end of the season, the resort of Tignes takes action by inviting locals and holidaymakers to come and clean up the mountain for a day. When the snow melts and at the end of the summer, ski poles, gloves, hats, slopes maps, cigarette butts and other rubbish are found. In 2023, 542 kg of rubbish was collected.
